Face Time with Misti Floyd

Blackberry Township resident Misti Floyd was at BatFest in Batavia when she answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Bells, Tenn.

Pets? A cat named Walton. He was found in a Walmart parking lot in Tennessee, so we named him after Sam Walton. He’s a rescue.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Patricia Heaton

First job? Babysitter

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A lawyer, and yes I became one.

A book you’d recommend? “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett – and the movie

Favorite charity? Humane Society of the U.S.

Favorite local restaurant? Bien Trucha in Geneva

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? When I was 2, I ate stink bugs off the firewood. They tasted like they smelled.
