The Judy Biggert for Congress campaign today issued the following statement from U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk:
“Two years ago, the people of Illinois sent me to Washington, and I was honored to earn their trust and their vote,” said Senator Mark Kirk. “Today, I’m urging the voters of the 11th District to support Judy Biggert, a good friend and an ally who will join me voting to spend less, and borrow less, and tax less, helping to fix our economy.
“Judy listens to us and she fights for us – she fights every day for her constituents, but also for our nation’s veterans, for better schools, for homeless and at-risk kids, and for the science research that makes our country a leader in technology and innovation.
“Judy’s a hard worker, but she’s also a listener – and she’ll never forget that she’s working for her constituents. She’s one of the ultimate suburban moms, and she should be representing Illinois in Congress next year.
