Faith Christian marks 30 years in Geneva

GENEVA – For three decades, Faith Christian Academy in Geneva has been educating children with a mission of teaching them to know Jesus Christ and to develop strong academics.

The school, at 1745 Kaneville Road, will host a dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday for students, alumni and interested members of the community, to celebrate 30 years in the Fox Valley.

Founded in 1982, the school, which serves children from second through eighth grade, has graduated more than 250 students. The school began with director Ruth Clapper, who said she was asked to establish first and second grade.
