Sugar Grove resident Carmella Mordkovich, 41, was with Michael Withall, 51, and Anthony Mordkovich, 5, at a tree-lighting ceremony at the Sugar Grove Community House when she answered 10 questions from the Kane County Chronicle’s Al Lagattolla.

Where did you grow up? In New York. Michael grew up in Chicago.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A secretary

What did you become? I am a corporate recruiter, HR professional.

Is there a movie you would recommend? The movie we just saw, “Wreck-It Ralph.”

Do you have a favorite charity? Children’s Juvenile Diabetes

Do you have any hobbies? My son and I are both taking piano lessons. I really enjoy cooking.
