MONTGOMERY – Authorities are looking for a teenager from the Montgomery area who has been missing since Sunday morning.

Reyna Marie Martinez, 13, was reported missing by her mother Sunday, and the investigation continues, according to a news release issued by the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Police were told Martinez ran away from home, and no foul play is suspected at this time.

Detective Sgt. Joe Jasnosz with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said deputies have heard stories that Martinez might be outside of the state, but he said until police have evidence of that, they believe she still could be in the Montgomery area.

He said Martinez, of the first block of Long Beach Road in the Boulder Hill subdivision, has many friends in the area.

Martinez was described as 4 feet, 10 inches tall, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, a white Abercrombie hooded jacket, blue jeans and black Converse shoes with pink near the laces.

Anyone with information can call the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office at 630-553-7500. Phones are also answered 24 hours a day at 630-553-5856.
