Correction
An article that appeared on page 6 of the Nov. 8 edition of the Kane County Chronicle incorrectly stated that seven new Kane County Board members were elected from the 22 board seats on the ballot. In fact, there were eight new board members elected from the 24 seats on the ballot. Also, the partisan split on the board will be 14 Republicans and 10 Democrats, not 16 Republicans and eight Democrats as reported in the article. The Chronicle regrets the errors.
