South Elgin man charged with aggravated child pornography
ST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP – A South Elgin man facing child pornography charges is being held on $100,000 bond.
David B. Hauge, 47, of the 0-100 block of East Sandstone Court, was charged Thursday with aggravated child pornography, a Class X felony, and child pornography, a Class 1 felony, after an investigation that began last November, according to a South Elgin Police Department news release.
Members of the South Elgin police department, Kane County Sheriff’s Office and Geneva police department reportedly conducted a search warrant at Hauge’s home about 6 a.m. Thursday.
He had several depictions and videos of child pornography, police reported.
Online records indicate he is expected in court for a status hearing Thursday.
