ST. CHARLES – Kane County sheriff’s detectives arrested a St. Charles man Wednesday after recovering about $15,000 of low-grade marijuana from his home, Lt. Pat Gengler said in an email.

Frank Brunke, 39, of the 200 block of Birch Avenue, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver and possession of marijuana. Both charges are felonies.

Sheriff’s detectives from the Special Operations Unit conducted a search warrant at his home about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Gengler said. He said they recovered about 15 pounds of marijuana and about $1,600.
