Arcada benefit to help Marine

ST. CHARLES – Several local bands will perform Sunday at the Arcada Theater, 105 E. Main St., St. Charles, at a benefit for Oswego Marine Kyle Moser, who was wounded serving in Afghanistan.

4Titude Entertainment is organizing the “A Salute to an American Hero” benefit. One hundred percent of proceeds from the benefit will go to Moser.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. There will be an opening salute at 6:30 p.m., followed by a performance of the Fox Valley Jazz Trio at 7 p.m., the Leslie Hunt Band at 7:45 p.m. and St. Charles band The Giving Moon at 8:45 p.m.

Hunt, a St. Charles native, finished among the final 10 female contestants on “American Idol” in 2007. The Giving Moon is the winner of Chicago’s 2012 I AM Fest.

There will be a special appearance by M&M Dance Studio. The benefit will include silent auctions. Tickets are $10. Those 5 years old and younger will be admitted free.
