Face Time with Mike Bradfield

Batavia resident Mike Bradfield, 45, was helping out at a friend’s garage sale when he answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? Geneva I was in the Class of 1985 from Geneva High School.

Pets? Five fish named Big Kahuna and Goldie, and Thing One and Thing Two, Stripe; and three dogs, a collie-husky mix named Nanook, and two Chihuahuas named Jackson and Cricket

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Clint Eastwood

First job? Working at Batavia McDonald’s

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher, and I became a warehouse supervisor.

A movie you’d recommend? “Becket”

Favorite charity? Goodwill Industries

Hobbies? Bicycling, and we go to the river and look for old antique bottles. It was a really good year because the river was low. We’ve got milk bottles, alcohol bottles, perfume bottles. We found about 400 this summer. The nicer ones are in our house.

Do you play an instrument? Harmonica a little bit

Favorite local restaurant? El Taco Grande in Batavia

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? My cousin is on an HBO series called “Treme.” Her character is Cindy, but her name is Taryn Terrell. She was also a professional wrestler, one of the divas on World Wrestling Entertainment, and she was a Playboy model.
