Sugar Grove Township supervisor steps down

SUGAR GROVE – Dan Nagel has stepped down from his post as Sugar Grove Township supervisor.

Citing personal and family reasons, Nagel submitted his resignation Oct. 31. According to a news release, Nagel said he has served the public for 38 years, and it was a pleasure to serve the community.

“I am proud of the work we have accomplished over the years on our major projects including the establishment of the new Township of Sugar Grove Offices at 54 Snow St., the senior center, permanent mental health offices, new assessors offices, renovations to the Township of Sugar Grove Community Building and many more,” he said in the release.

He praised the joint projects he has worked on with various government entities throughout the years.

“We can all be proud of the work we have completed together that has truly benefited the residents of Sugar Grove Township,” the release said.
