Toys, books sought in Sugar Grove holiday drive

SUGAR GROVE – Rachel Muckerheide hopes community members shopping for holiday gifts will buy an extra toy or book to help a child in need.

For the second consecutive year, the Sugar Grove resident has organized a holiday book and toy drive, this time benefiting Between Friends Food Pantry of Sugar Grove.

“I’m excited it’s local this year,” Muckerheide said. “There’s a lot of hurting families.”

What do you think of people using fireworks near their homes?

That shouldn't be tolerated. It's dangerous.
I'd never do it, but I'll watch others.
It's OK so long as the fireworks are legal.
It's not a problem. It's just a way to celebrate.
I have no opinion.
