Batavia man charged with aggravated DUI

GENEVA – A Batavia man is being held in the Kane County Jail on $25,000 bond on felony charges of aggravated driving under the influence, according to police reports.

Brad M. Lewis, 47, of the 800 block of Forest Avenue, Batavia, also was charged Nov. 4 with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol level greater than .08 percent and driving with a revoked license.

The felony charge carries a punishment of one to three years in prison and fines of up to $25,000.
