ST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP – Four arrests – including a driver whose blood-alcohol level was more than three times higher than the legal limit – were made as part of the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office’s most recent no-refusal operation.

The event was over Halloween weekend and included six law enforcement agencies – Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Illinois State Police District 2, Kane County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police District 15.

Of the four arrests, two had blood-alcohol levels greater than twice .08 percent, and one was at .29 percent. State’s Attorney Joe McMahon said that is not unprecedented.
