North Aurora firefighters to host turkey raffle

NORTH AURORA – The North Aurora Firefighters Association will hold its annual turkey raffle from 6 p.m. to midnight today and Saturday in the apparatus storage and maintenance building just north of the main fire station on Monroe Street.

Firefighters will raffle off turkeys, hams, steaks and pork chops. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the night, with free soda for designated drivers. A deejay will provide music.

Proceeds will benefit organizations and events such as Operation Christmas, the North Aurora Pet Parade, North Aurora Mothers Club, North Aurora Lions Club, the North Aurora Baseball Association, public education and scholarship programs.
