BATAVIA – The Batavia Police Department and the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team continue to investigate a collision in which a Batavia woman died. The collision occurred Wednesday night.

Amy P. Holtorf, 43, of Batavia, was traveling north on Randall Road at 11:52 p.m., just south of Mill Creek, when her 2005 Honda Odyssey crossed the center lane and struck a 2012 Nissan Rogue traveling southbound.

Holtorf was killed at the scene, and one of the occupants traveling in the Nissan was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. The other occupant of the Nissan was flown by helicopter to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove in serious or critical condition.
