Schmidt won’t run for re-election in Elburn

ELBURN – Elburn Village Board elections may not be until April, but they’re already on the radar for a few trustees.

Three seats are up for election in April, including Jerry Schmidt’s. He served one four-year term and said he’s not seeking re-election in April. He said he did not want to comment on why he’s not running.

However, Jeff Walter and Ken Anderson Jr. both said they were interested in running for another term in April.
