Street closures planned for St. Charles parade
ST. CHARLES – Several streets and parking spaces will be temporarily closed to motorists Saturday for the 2012 St. Charles Holiday Homecoming Parade.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the parade will be on Main Street between Sixth Street and Fourth Avenue.
Traffic on Main and Second streets will be detoured beginning at 5:15 p.m. A parking ban will be in effect on the detour route and Main Street from 3 to 7 p.m.
