Batavia alderwoman won’t seek re-election
BATAVIA – Seventh Ward Alderwoman Dawn Tenuta announced during Monday’s Batavia City Council meeting that she will not seek a second term next spring.
Tenuta, who was elected to the City Council in 2009, said she would not seek re-election for personal reasons.
“This is an exciting time for Batavia,” she said. “Great change and improvement is already happening downtown. I’m calling out to civic-minded residents of the 7th Ward to seek the position and continue the momentum.”
