Lil Adams honored for 35 years at Sugar Grove Community Building

SUGAR GROVE – It’s difficult to fully describe the work Lil Adams has put into the Sugar Grove Community Building in the past 35 years.

Adams, who has served on the board of directors since 1977 and took over managerial duties in the late 1980s, handled rentals, indoor and outdoor maintenance, snow shoveling, keeping the building up to code and stocking it with such necessities as toilet paper and soap, said Julie Walker, who is taking over the day-to-day operations with her
husband, Chris.

“All the little details that everyone does for their own house, she would be doing,” Walker said.
