Letter: Are we all entitled?
To the Editor:
Having spent time observing the political changes in our dear old U.S. of A., one continuing observation puzzles me. Why do we seem to depend on the president of this great country to manage the tiniest of everyday responsibilities?
The president threatens this, the president hugs that. The president wheedles here, the president brags there. Have we lost all sense of direction, all sense of personal, day-to-day responsibility? Our nation’s president is not charged with managing each and every facet of our wants and wishes. His charge is to manage this flagging country, to keep us strong in the face of terrible challenges, both domestic and abroad.
