Face Time with Doreen Clark
Carol Stream resident Doreen Clark, 55, was at the St. Charles Chicago Pet Show when she answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.
Where did you grow up? In Chicago, on Division and Western
Pets? A black lab/great Dane mix named Cody. He’s big, 140 pounds. And Sergeant, who’s a whatnot. So many different breeds, they don’t know.
Who would play you in the movie of your life? Betty White
First job? At a hot dog stand in the city
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a DJ, but I became a Jill of all trades
A book you’d recommend? The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich
Favorite charity? DuPage County Animal Control
Hobbies? Pets, baking and baking for the pets
Favorite local restaurant? Colonial in St. Charles
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met Engelbert Humperdinck. He was playing at the Mill Run Playhouse in Golf Mill in Niles, an in-the-round theater.
