Letter: My duty to the people of my community
To the Editor:
Earlier this month, I was elected by the voters of Kane County as a circuit court judge. To be honest, it took about a week for it to fully sink in. That time has allowed me to fully grasp the enormity of the trust and confidence the voters placed in me, and it is humbling indeed.
Serving a community I love as judge is a great honor, and a great responsibility. I will work for the rest of my working years to justify and fulfill that trust and confidence. I hereby dedicate myself to doing absolutely everything in my power to be the best possible judge I can be. I pledge to remain fair and impartial, to follow the law, and to treat every single person that appears before me with dignity and respect.
