Marmion cadets provide Thanksgiving dinner baskets to local families

Marmion Academy’s JROTC Adventure Platoon provided twenty Kane and Kendall County families with food for Thanksgiving. Each family, selected by DayOne Network in Geneva, was given a frozen turkey and ingredients necessary for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner as well as a $50 gift card on Nov. 19.

The cadets raised money for the Thanksgiving dinner giveaway by hosting a “Turkey Raffle” and by collected canned goods from local communities.

This is the 15th year that Marmion has teamed up with DayOne for a Thanksgiving Drive.
