Elburn resident Jaime McCarty, 35, was finishing up a 5K run put on by FitMama on Thanksgiving Day at the Blackberry Creek subdivision when she answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Al Lagattolla.

Where did you grow up? In Clinton, Iowa

Do you have any pets? Two dogs, Max and Kramer. They are Cavachons, a cross between a Cavalier King Charles and a Bichon Frise.

What was your first job? Camp counselor

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A vet

What did you become? An account manager

Is there a book you would recommend? I just got done reading “When She Woke,” by Hillary Jordan.

Do you have any hobbies? I love to bake.

What is your favorite local restaurant? Old Towne Pub

What is your favorite TV Christmas special? I like Charlie Brown.
