Sugar Grove police reports
• An employee of a convenience store in the 100 block of Route 47, Sugar Grove, told police that someone had kicked in the lower pane of the store’s glass door on Nov. 15.
• Police are investigating a burglary at a business in the 1000 block of Airpark Road that was reported Nov. 17. Witnesses told police they saw two males with dark hair who did not appear to belong in the business leaving the building on that date. Shortly after, employees discovered that a work station had been vandalized with graffiti, written with a black magic marker, that matched markings used by the Latin Kings gang. Also, employees reported that stacks of papers prepared for Sunday delivery had been knocked over. Police said the graffiti and other damage appeared to have been directed at one particular employee of the business.
• Police said mailboxes at 13 homes were damaged or destroyed between Nov. 19 and Nov. 21. The damage was reported at homes on Chestnut Hill Lane, Edgewood Drive, Chesney Drive, Black Walnut Drive, Merill New Road, Elm Street, Hickory Street and Queens Gate Circle. Police said the damage appeared to have been caused by pumpkins thrown at the mailboxes from a moving vehicle.
