Prep roundup: Knights girls bowlers top Lisle

LISLE – Morgan Wojciechowski (515) and Amanda Strayve (492) registered the top series for the Kaneland girls bowling team in Wednesday's 2,382-2,066 victory against Lisle at Lisle Lanes.

Wojciechowski collected the Knights' high game with a 236 in the opener. Dominique Lee added a 488 series for Kaneland.

BOYS BASKETBALL

ACS takes charge: AURORA – Aurora Christian boys basketball senior Ryan McQuade took six charges in the host Eagles' 52-40 victory against Joliet Catholic in the opening game of the Burney Wilkie Classic.

"Every one of them were legitimate," Eagles coach Pat McNamara said. "I don't know, I think that's some kind of record."

Johnathan Harrell (13 points) and Haydyn McNelis (nine) led the 2-0 Eagles in scoring.
