Batavia McDonald’s to reopen Monday

BATAVIA – About three months after it was demolished, the McDonald’s restaurant in the city’s downtown will again serve Big Macs, Quarter Pounders and other fast-food favorites.

Friday, a representative of local McDonald’s franchisee Yanni Management, which operates nine McDonald’s restaurants around the Tri-Cities, confirmed its Batavia location will reopen Monday.

“We’re going through all the final touch-ups right now,” said Brandon Ross, area supervisor for Yanni. “And we are opening Monday at 6 a.m.”
