North Aurora vehicle break-ins get attention

NORTH AURORA – Seven burglaries involving vehicles have been reported since Nov. 19 in three North Aurora subdivisions, and police are calling on residents to be aware of the situation and protect their property.

Four incidents took place in the RCA subdivision, two were in the Highlands subdivision and one was in the Timber Oaks subdivision. Among the items taken in the burglaries were an iPhone, two wallets and four purses. Identification and credit cards were in the wallets and purses.

Two burglaries were Nov. 19 in the 300 block of Harmony Drive. One was Nov. 20 in the 600 block of Birchwood Drive and another was Nov. 20 in the 0-100 block of North Cherrytree Court.
