Where did you grow up? Niles

Pets? Two cats named Moji and Violet

Why are you at this event? I’m here to look at dog adoptions, possibly thinking about getting a dog.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Christina Hendricks

First job? Baby-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a singer. I did not become that. I work in administration.

A movie you’d recommend? “Singin’ in the Rain”

Favorite charity? Save-A-Pet in Grayslake, www.saveapetil.org

Hobbies? Scrapbooking, walking the dogs at Save-A-Pet

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met J.D. Fortune. He was the winner of the 2005 CBS reality television series “Rock Star: INXS” and fronted INXS until August 2011. I was in back of the building where they were coming in for a concert. And they went over to a restaurant, and we went over and he was very cordial and very nice and he signed my T-shirt.
