Geneva mental health agencies get annual grants
GENEVA – The Geneva Community Mental Health Board made its annual grant awards Monday to agencies that provide counseling and support for people with mental health issues, addiction, developmental disabilities, homelessness and other services.
The board receives funding through property taxes and awards grants to agencies that serve Geneva residents.
The board awarded $139,000 to local agencies at the city council meeting. Among them was Ecker Center for Mental Health, which received $29,600 to provide services such as therapy, rehabilitation and case management.
