Geneva police reports

• A car’s paint was reported chipped by eggs thrown at it Monday, Nov. 5, in the 1000 block of Peyton Street. Damage was estimated at $200.

• Orange paint was reported sprayed on a sidewalk and grass Wednesday, Nov. 14, causing $200 in damage.

• A lighted sign for the roof of a pizza delivery car, valued at $400, was reported stolen Wednesday, Nov. 14, from Antonio’s Pizza, 500 Lark St.

• A decorative steel urn gate and a two-foot tall copper lantern were reported stolen Monday, Nov. 16 from the front of 610 Home, 510 S. First St. The items were valued at $185.

• Meadow View Veterinary Clinic, 590 Lark St., was reported burglarized Saturday, Nov. 17. According to reports, someone broke a window valued at $500 to enter the clinic, but the only thing missing was $5 in coins and currency from the register.

• Scott T. Hosack, 38, of the 1300 block of Abott Drive, Elgin, was charged Friday, Nov. 23, with disorderly conduct and knowingly damaging property. According to reports, Hosack threw a glass vase valued at $50 in a house in the 2000 block of Williamsburg Avenue.

• Anthony M. Krause, 24, and Donald A. Cox, 54, both of the 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, were charged Monday, Nov. 19, with public intoxication on the 1800 block of South Randall Road. Both were charged with public intoxication again on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 1492 S. Randall Road, but had different addresses listed. Krause’s last known address was listed as the 100 block of Dolores Street, Oswego. Cox’s last known address was listed for the 500 block of North Avon Court, Oswego.

• A mailbox in the 3200 block of Fieldstone Drive was reported damaged Wednesday, Nov. 21, by a thrown pumpkin. The pumpkin dented the metal mailbox, nearly knocking it from the post, causing $200 in damage, according to reports.

• A car was reported scratched by eggs thrown at it, causing $200 damage Wednesday, Nov. 21, in the 1100 block of Cheever Avenue.

• Several cars were reported burglarized on Saturday, Dec. 1. On the 300 block of West Street, a jacket, sweater and two ornaments valued at $90 were taken in one burglary and a global positioning system valued at $75 was reported taken in another. Another car on the 200 block of West Lane was reported rummaged through, but with nothing taken. Also, on the 100 block of Maple Court, a global positioning system, two pairs of sunglasses, a knife and a socket set, with a total value of $1,070, reportedly were taken from two cars.

• Irish Sisters, 312 S. Third St., reported the retail theft of a pair of earrings and two pendants valued at $1,012.90 on Saturday, Dec. 1.

• A fence facing an alley on the 700 block of Richards Street was reported vandalized Sunday, Dec. 2, with spray paint.
