Kane County Forest Preserve Commission asks for tax levy hike
GENEVA – The Kane County Forest Preserve District is asking for more money from property taxpayers than it did last year.
Monday, the Kane County Forest Preserve Commission, meeting in special session, approved a tax levy request for 2013 that is about 3.6 percent greater than what it requested last year.
The Forest Preserve Commission is made up of the members of the County Board.
