West Chicago resident Ron Johnson, 62, was at the St. Charles Chicago Pet Show when he answered nine questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.
Where did you grow up? South side of Chicago.
Pets? A cat named Stormy.
First job? Cleaning in a medical clinic.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I probably wanted to be in electronics, and yes I did that for many years until a few years ago when I was laid off from the corporate world. Now I have Ron John’s Poo-B-Gone. I go to people’s yards and scoop the poop.
A movie you’d recommend? “Envy” with Jack Black.
Favorite charity? Most any kind of animal charity.
Favorite local restaurant? Olive Garden in St. Charles.
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I met David Crosby from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in Hawaii. While we were there, we were hiking along some trails, and we met him.
