Maple Park man gets 5 years for sexual abuse

A 45-year-old Maple Park man was sentenced last week to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual abuse and domestic battery.



Antonio Arceo-Lomeli was sentenced Nov. 30 by Kane County Associate Judge James Hallock. Arceo-Lomeli pleaded guilty in a case in which he was accused of having sexual contact with a girl he knew between Jan. 1, 2011, and Feb. 4, 2012. The girl was younger than 13 at the time. On Feb. 4, 2012, he punched a family member.



He pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony, and a count of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor. He was given credit for at least 301 days he served in the Kane County Jail.
