Museum to present ‘Touching on Traditions’ exhibit
ELGIN – The Elgin Public Museum’s authentic and culturally-inclusive winter holiday exhibition, “Touching on Traditions,” features displays and objects of traditional holiday significance. There will be 62 displays in the exhibit, which will open to the public Dec. 8, 9, 15 and 16.
Admission costs $2 for adults and $1 for children ages 3 to 11 years old.
The exhibition will open daily beginning Dec. 22, and runs through the end of the month. The general exhibit hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Hours will be shortened to noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 24 and 31.
