Items stolen from Sugar Grove vehicles

SUGAR GROVE – Burglars struck at least four vehicles in one night on one street earlier this month, police said.

According to Sugar Grove Police reports, residents of the 500 block of Mallard Lane in the village reported that someone had improperly entered their vehicles and took items from inside the vehicles while they were parked in front of their homes overnight Dec. 4.

Those responsible for the apparent burglaries took a number of items from the vehicles, including GPS devices; digital music players; customized bowling balls bearing the Indianapolis Colts team logo and the words “BIG TIME”; laptop computers; a set of keys; personalized engraved Christmas ornaments and a snow globe intended to be given as Christmas gifts; and a black pea coat, among other items.
