St. Charles detective joins biohazard cleanup company

As a St. Charles Police Department detective, Jerry Schomer knows how to deal with – and bring a comfort level to – tragic scenes, such as those involving death and fire.

Now, in addition to his police duties, he is using those skills in a venture that offers biohazard decontamination.

Based out of a 1970s double-wide trailer in Big Rock, Global Priority Clean-Up offers 24/7 crime scene cleanup, blood cleanup, mold remediation, hoarding cleanup and, among other services, vehicle cleanup in Illinois and other Midwest states, including Iowa, Indiana and Michigan.
