• A resident of the 3N400 block of Ponderosa Drive reported hearing a loud bang, like a distant gunshot, at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 30. He awoke the next morning to find his mailbox in pieces. It had been blown off its base. Police found a 16-ounce plastic bottle nearby.
