Face Time with Michelle Guthrie

Elburn resident Michelle Guthrie, 30, and Blake were waiting in line to see Santa Claus at the Elburn Town & Country Public Library when Michelle answered 10 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Al Lagattolla.

Where did you grow up? Lombard and Sugar Grove

Do you have any pets? Two mixed-breeds that we rescued. Their names are Bruno and Tula.

What was your first job? Baby-sitting

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A vet

Did you become that? I worked in retail for 10 years, in management. And now I stay home with my kids.

What is your favorite Christmas Movie? “White Christmas,” hands down.

What is your favorite charity? Anything having to do with shelter animals

Do you have any hobbies? I like to exercise. I like to throw parties.

What is your favorite local restaurant? Paisano’s

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I used to be a 911 dispatcher.
