St. Charles police reports

• Tyree Deon Turman, 18, of the 300 block of Condon Avenue, Elgin, was charged Friday, Nov. 30, with obstructing police, driving without a license and failure to provide information after striking a vehicle in the 1400 block of West Main Street.

• Tracy L. Krahn, 46, of the 10N900 block of Maple Street, Elgin, was charged Tuesday, Dec. 11, with retail theft for reportedly stealing $18.87 in food and hair coloring from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road.

• An iPod and 120 prescription pills were reported stolen Thursday, Dec. 13, from an unlocked 1995 Buick in the 0-100 block of North 12th Street.

• Douglas William Komes, 54, was charged Wednesday, Dec. 12, with criminal trespass to property.

• La Vie Encore, 211 S. Third St., reported Wednesday, Dec. 12, that Christmas garland had been stolen from a lower-level window. This was the fifth theft of decorations at the business since Nov. 25, but the other four were unreported. Previously stolen items were Christmas wreaths, pine cones, ribbon and garland, with a total loss of $250.

• Saul Soriano-Flores, 20, of the 800 block of Burr Oaks Drive, West Chicago, was charged Wednesday, Dec. 12, with driving without a license after an accident in the 3900 block of Stern Avenue.
