• Tyree Deon Turman, 18, of the 300 block of Condon Avenue, Elgin, was charged Friday, Nov. 30, with obstructing police, driving without a license and failure to provide information after striking a vehicle in the 1400 block of West Main Street.

• Tracy L. Krahn, 46, of the 10N900 block of Maple Street, Elgin, was charged Tuesday, Dec. 11, with retail theft for reportedly stealing $18.87 in food and hair coloring from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road.

• An iPod and 120 prescription pills were reported stolen Thursday, Dec. 13, from an unlocked 1995 Buick in the 0-100 block of North 12th Street.
