• A window valued at $50 was reported broken Tuesday, Dec. 11, on a house in the 0-50 block of Briar Lane.

• Two stop signs and a “Welcome to Geneva” sign were reported spray-painted Tuesday, Dec. 11. The signs were on the 800 block of Anderson Boulevard, the corner of Anderson Boulevard and McKinley Avenue and 1800 South Street. The graffiti included a pitchfork and various other symbols. No damage estimate was available.

• A mailbox valued at $500 was reported damaged Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the 800 block of Dunstan Road.

• A sign valued at $50 was reported stolen Wednesday, Dec. 12, from the parking area allotted to the All Chocolate Kitchen, 33 S. Third St. According to police reports, a sign stating “Chef Roby Parking Only” was taken from a reserved parking area on James Street.

• A 2-foot-tall Tyrannosaurus Rex wearing a Santa hat and holding a Christmas gift with lights was reported stolen Wednesday, Dec. 12, from a front yard in the 800 block of Western Avenue. The decoration was valued at $70.

• A gingerbread house valued at $50 was reported stolen Monday, Nov. 26, from the front of a house in the 700 block of McKinley Avenue.

• Two air compressors valued at $5,000 were reported stolen Monday, Dec. 10, from the 400 block of Commons Drive.

• Two strings of red Christmas lights were reported damaged Monday, Dec. 10, from a house in the 400 block of Prairieview Drive.

• Gray spray paint was reported on Geneva Park District playground equipment Sunday, Dec. 16, at 2 E. State St. The paint was found on the plastic roof of a playhouse, a plastic tree and a nearby rock. No damage estimate was available.

• A mailbox valued at $50 was reported damaged Friday, Dec. 14, in the 1000 block of St. Andrews Circle.

• Havlicek Properties, 321 Stevens St., reported red spray paint on the side of the building Friday, Dec. 14. No damage estimate was available.

• Nathan R. Bucy, 28, of the 1200 block of Pine Street, Batavia, was charged Monday, Dec. 10, with battery. According to the charges, Bucy made physical contact of an insulting nature and provoked a breach of the peace.

• Kenneth A. Allison, 31, of the 2400 block of 21st Street, Troy, New York, was charged Saturday, Dec. 8, with driving under the influence and driving without headlights when required, and was given a written warning for illegal transportation of alcohol.

• David Obermeyer, 25, of the 6000 block of Frankenburger Drive, Indianapolis, was charged Sunday, Dec. 9, with knowingly damaging property and possession of not more than 2.5 grams of marijuana. According to police reports, Obermeyer damaged a window valued at less than $300 at The Dam Bar, 65 N. River Lane.

• Salvador Mendez, 22, of the 1700 block of Covington Court, St. Charles, was charged Saturday, Dec. 8, with two counts of domestic battery. According to police reports, Mendez slapped the victim in the face while at Delnor Hospital, 300 S. Randall Road. Mendez was also arrested on an outstanding warrant by Kane County for failure to appear in court on disorderly conduct charges.
