Where did you grow up? Bensenville
Who would play you in the movie of your life? Meryl Streep
First job? At Cock Robin Ice Cream in Elmhurst. I was the malt girl. I was 15 – but I said I was 16.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a teacher. I got a degree, and I was a sub, but that was it. I work in an accounting department.
A movie you’d recommend? “Casablanca”
Favorite charity? Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Salvation Army.
Hobbies? Reading
Favorite local restaurant? Front Street Cantina in Geneva
What is an interesting factoid about yourself? I went to all 50 states by the time I was 22. When I was little, my parents always let me pick out where I wanted to go by looking at the National Geographic. I saw John Denver in Anchorage before he died.
