Three-person race in Batavia’s 6th Ward
BATAVIA – Batavia 6th Ward Alderman Robert Liva on Thursday filed nominating petitions for the April consolidated election.
He faces opposition for the seat. Nick Cerone and Ron Rechenmacher on Monday also filed petitions.
Also filing nominating petitions Thursday were Batavia City Clerk Heidi Wetzel and City Treasurer Gerald Miller, seeking re-election to their current positions. The last day to file nominating petitions is Wednesday.
