Face Time with Abby Luchtenburg

Geneva resident Abby Luchtenburg, 17, was at the Geneva Library when she answered 11 questions for the Kane County Chronicle’s Brenda Schory.

Where did you grow up? In Duluth, Ga., and Hilton Head, S.C.

Pets? Molly a shih-poo – a Shih tzu and a poodle mix.

Who would play you in the movie of your life? Rachel McAdams.

First job? I am a cashier at Chick-fil-A.

What do you want to be when you grow up? A dentist or a nurse.

A book you’d recommend? “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers.

Favorite charity? Locks of Love.

Do you speak another language? I’m in my fourth year of Spanish, so I’m on my way.

Hobbies? Golf.

Favorite local restaurant? Olive Garden in St. Charles.

What is an interesting factoid about yourself? In golf, I qualified for the U.S. Senior Girls two years ago. I was one of five who qualified from Illinois.
