Colonial Café to offer free sandwiches Jan. 2

Colonial Café and Ice Cream is offering a free Pot Roast Sandwich (with purchase of a beverage) for the first 400 customers who visit any of its seven Fox Valley locations. The dining event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2.

The sandwich is a Pot Roast French Dip made with slow roasted Café-made pot roast shredded and layered between garlic bread, mozzarella and crispy onion straws with roasted beef au jus. The sandwich will be served as an a la carte dine-in only item.

In a recent news release, Colonial president Clinton Anderson said, “The free sandwich is in appreciation of our many loyal customers and as an incentive for new guests to sample our most popular sandwich.”

Participating Colonial Cafes are located in Algonquin, Aurora, Crystal Lake, Elgin, Naperville and on both the east and west sides of St. Charles.
