Elgin Public Museum to host Science Night: Geology!

ELGIN – The Elgin Public Museum is hosting Science Night: Geology! from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11. Various stations will be set up around the museum for kids and adults to conduct experiments, experience demonstrations and partake in discussions about geology.

Participants will also crack open geodes, watch volcanoes explode and discover magnetic minerals in unusual places.

The cost of the event is $2 a person and free to attend for members.

The Elgin Public Museum is located in Elgin’s Lords Park at 225 Grand Blvd., Elgin. No registration is required.
