Letter: Efforts represent erosion

To the Editor:

I am very concerned to read about efforts being made in Illinois to redefine civil unions of homosexuals as marriage.

This represents an erosion of one of our most important values as a society.

Please join me in urging your state representatives to oppose legislation that would redefine marriage in Illinois.
