ST. CHARLES – St. Charles School District 303 parents and guardians may register their children for kindergarten for the 2013-14 school year Feb. 6 at all district elementary schools. Register at the school where children in your area currently attend kindergarten.

Per state law, a child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2013, to attend kindergarten during the 2013-14 school year. A certified copy of the student’s original county-issued birth certificate will be required at the time of registration.

Families also must provide two documents as proof of residency. Proof of residency includes parents’ names and district addresses on any of the following documents: driver’s license, signed lease or rental agreement, rental receipt, bill of sale or closing statement showing ownership of a home, recent property tax bill and recent utility bill.
