Prep roundup: Kaneland girls bowling loses at Huntley

HUNTLEY – Christine Crews' 545 series led the Kaneland girls bowling team in Monday's nonconference loss at Huntley.

The Knights fell, 2,978-2,728 at Bowl-Hi Lanes.

Crews rolled a 205 for her team's high game. Morgan Wojciechowski (527) and Anne Salerno (436) contributed the next-best series for Kaneland.

Wheaton Academy hoops ends trip with win
MATTHEWS, N.C. – The Wheaton Academy boys basketball team concluded its winter break trip to North Carolina with a 64-53 win against Covenant Day (N.C.).

Sophomore Josh Ruggles scored 19 points to lead the Warriors (12-3). Collin Roy and Gordon Behr added 11 points each for Wheaton Academy.
